Textile Design: Floral Drawings

Detailed flower drawings became part of my repertoire during my internship at Mirjam Rouden .

I was asked to create intricate flower drawings and floral illustrations and enjoyed it so much it became a part of my textile project at university. I feel I can control the shape, tone and look of a texture when illustrating flowers.  The flower drawings I create form the source of my print designs. The flower shapes give me freedom to devise different placement and repeat patterns.
