Fashion Film: Unisex

“Unisex” is a film that questions societies conceptions of sexuality.
In this modern age we are increasingly seeing the concepts of sexual sterotypes being questioned, historical boundaries being broken down, and established notions being revolutionised.
Using Blue and Pink as a representation of male and female sexual stereotyping, “Unisex” will show how modern society is moving towards celebrating the strong independant woman, encouraging evolution of the definition of modern masculinity, and developing androgenous cultural identities.

In Our Own Skin

Hey there, you, you putting on the show
Guess what… Guess what… big guy we know
You’re prancing, kinda dancing
And you’re playing with fire
Cos it sure ain’t no man thing
Better go join the choir.

Hey there, you, you putting on the show
Guess what… Guess what… Sweetie we know
You’re strutting, kinda striding
And you’re clutching at straws
Cos it sure ain’t no girl thing
You just don’t have the balls

Hey there, you, you watching the show
Guess what, we’re NOT
gonna stoop down that low
If our gender offends you
Better get up and go
Cos we’re happy in our own skins
And that’s something you don’t know
